Vote to delete the requirement for co-signing checks

On June 9th, 2003, a vote was taken to delete the requirement for the President to co-sign all association checks.  In accordance with the By-Laws a vote was taken of the Board Of Directors.  The vote was 5 to 1 in favor.

The By-Laws previously read (bottom of Page 7 of 10):

“A.  President.  The president shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors; shall see that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out; shall sign all leases, mortgages, deeds, and other written instruments and shall co-sign all checks and promissory notes.”

The amended By-Laws will now read:

 “A.  President.  The president shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors; shall see that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out; shall sign all leases, mortgages, deeds, and other written instruments.”
