Clarification of Compensating Directors

In order to clarify that Directors will not be compensated for time spent on association issues, the following changes to the by-laws were adopted June 20th, 2003.

The By-Law referring to compensation was previously as follows:

Section 4. Compensation. No Director shall receive compensation for any service he may render to the Association. However, any Director may be reimbursed for his actual expenses incurred in the performance of his duties.

For the sake of future clarity this By-law shall be modified to read as follows:

Section 4. Compensation. No Director shall receive compensation for any service he may render to the Association. However, any Director may be reimbursed for his actual expenses incurred in the performance of his duties, excluding compensation for time.
